Synopsis: WORK OUT

No sex for almost a year could kill a guy, but when you’re the boxer known as the Juggernaut, it’s the price you pay for turning pro. Tommy’s fully dedicated to his craft, until he meets the incredibly gorgeous Dr. Siena Carr. Now he’s looking forward to taking on this prim and proper lady in a wet and wild work-out…

KNOCK OUT

Siena has seen many patients come through the ER, but none as sexy as Tommy Raines. With a nasty cut over his eye, she knows he needs stitches, but after he takes off his shirt, she needs some air. With rock-hard abs and taut biceps, it’s clear this man takes care of his body. And all Siena can think about is letting him take care of hers…

Thank you Cindy Fazzi (Vina Arno) for my review copy of In His Corner. I received this review copy in exchange for an honest review; this does not affect my opinion.

In His Corner is a very hot and steamy story about Tommy – Juggernaut – Raines and Doctor Siena Carr. Juggernaut comes into the ER on the same day Dr. Siena Carr has her shift. She ends up having to stitch up one of his eyebrows and there leads to more than they both could expect. When they meet there is an instant attraction, a spark between them that none of them can ignore. Even if the Juggernaut, a professional boxer, has made a vow to abstain from sex he asks the beautiful Siena out on a date.

“Four years of medical school and two years of residency had equipped her with skills to save lives, but not her own heart. Nothing could have prepared her for the Juggernaut.”

The relationship, between Tommy (Juggernaut) and Siena, is what most would call a rollercoaster, it’s hot, cold and everything in-between. Tommy is rough around the edges and has never worn a suit in his life whereas Siena has always dated well-dressed and rich men who fit her idea of a perfect man. However, as Siena and Tommy get to know each other more they find that there is real love between them despite their differences. Siena never thought she would fall in love with an alpha male – because that is exactly what the Juggernaut is – but she does and the connection truly is mutual. However, with differences as distinguished as those between Siena and Tommy also comes the need to want to change one another, and that is where everything goes wrong.

“Only a few weeks ago, he had said she was trying to tame him. But it was mutual taming. They were transforming each other. What was love but a continuous tide of change? What mattered was that it made them closer and stronger.”

In His Corner is a story where two people who never thought they could be together due to their differences realize that sometimes your differences are what makes you so great. You can learn, evolve and love together like you can’t otherwise. It’s about realizing that you can’t change someone to fit your own picture of perfect but instead make sure you both learn from each other and live and learn boldly. Love isn’t easy, but with the right person it can be a great adventure of self-exploration and growth, that’s In His Corner with a little hot and steamy action on the side. For more information about Cindy Fazzi and her books, go to her website here.
